Our butcher, Sam Wood, has lived in the Forest of Dean area for over 20 years and completed his apprenticeship in butchery at our shop premises. After gaining a rounded experience in the industry, he has returned to his roots in Huntley to take over the shop, running the butchers with a modern take on the age-old profession. All of his beef is locally sourced from Birdwood.
