The loin steaks are cut into 4 packs of medallions, so they are like small loin steaks.
May Hill Woodlands aim to manage the populations of both roe deer (native) and muntjac deer (non-native) on Huntley Estate responsibly, while making available the most natural free-range venison meat possible.
Deer have a significant impact on the ancient semi-natural woodland, so management is essential to prevent overgrazing of the woodland vegetation and to support the natural regeneration native tree saplings.

Venison is a lean, red meat containing far less saturated fat than supermarket beef. Their natural diet of acorns, berries and grasses means their meat is healthy. Culling is humane, which makes wild-shot venison a great alternative to intensively farmed animals.
Huntley estate has several qualified & registered deer controllers and our venison is butchered and packaged by Kevin's family butchers in Mitcheldean.
