Based in Tewkesbury Cotteswold Dairy is one of the largest Independent Family Dairies in the UK. As well as milk and cream they also supply us with ‘Llaeth Y Llan’ yoghurt, ‘Dragon’ cheese & butter, orange juice and ‘Alpro’ alternative milk products.

We now process more than 80 million litres of milk each year. Cheese & Butter: Dragon The milk used to make Dragon Cheese is sourced from Red Tractor Assured Farms that work to conserve the Welsh Countryside. The cows on these farms graze on lush grass and enjoy some of the most spectacular views that Wales has to offer – including the Llŷn Peninsula and Snowdonia National Park! Whole MILK, salt, starter culture, microbial rennet, potato starch.
Vintage White Cheddar (180g):
Aged to perfection, a powerful strong cheddar with deep savoury umami notes.
Dragon Mature White Cheddar (350g):
A wonderfully Mature Welsh Cheddar. Welsh made with milk from Welsh cows fed in the lush green pastures of Wales on traditional Welsh farms. This cheese is vegetarian and made and matured at our creamery on the Llŷn Peninsula, North Wales. Carefully matured to achieve a fuller flavour with more pronounced savoury note. Won Gold Award at the International Cheese and Dairy Awards 2022.Dragon Welsh Salted Butter (250g) Made to an original recipe with a distinct salty flavour.
Cotteswold Glass bottles are returned to Cotteswold Dairy where they are put through dedicated washing facilities ready to be refilled with milk; they are reused for an average of 30 times before they are recycled. Return Cotteswold glass bottles on a Friday via the Hub.
Cotteswold Poly containers are 100% recyclable. In the UK poly bottles are recycled in a closed-loop meaning that the bottle you put in the recycling bin can be made into a new plastic bottle.

Conventional Milk:
Sourced from local, independent family farms that practice traditional farming methods. All the farms are Red Tractor Assured and most of the cows have the freedom to graze in the warmer months, typically from April to October.
1 pint (568ml) semi-skimmed (1.7g of fat) & skimmed (0.1g of fat) in a traditional foil top glass bottle.

Organic Milk:
Cotteswold Dairy was one of the first dairies to offer Organic milk and was the first dairy to offer it in returnable, reusable glass pint bottles. Cotteswold Dairy organic milk is certified organic by the Organic Farmers and Growers (OF&G) and Red Tractor Assured. All Cotteswold Dairy Organic farmers are within 50 miles of the processing site in Tewkesbury.
