Coldcroft Farm Woven and Sheepskin luxury produce from Ryeland Sheep, reared in the Glasshouse area of May Hill.

The breeding, feeding and fleece management are all diligently managed over the preceding years, enhancing the natural Ryeland fleece characteristics and improving the woven outcome to create blankets, throws and scarves.

Large Blanket (£239)

A durable, luxurious and sublimely soft blanket. The colour is the natural Cream and Fawn/Brown colours of the fleece.  100% Ryeland wool. 142cm wide x 208cm long (224 long when including fringed edges). Dry clean or hand wash recommended.

Long Throw (£179)

A durable, luxurious and sublimely soft throw. The colour is the natural Cream and Fawn/Brown colours of the fleece. 100% Ryeland wool. 108cm wide x 208cm long (224 long when including fringed edges). Dry clean or hand wash recommended.

Extra Long Scarf (£59)

Our luxury collection of Ryeland scarves effortlessly combine warmth, comfort and elegance. A durable, luxurious and sublimely soft lightweight scarf of generous size. 100% Ryeland wool. 34cm wide x 208cm long. Dry clean or hand wash recommended.

Sheepskin Cushions (£45 / £60)

Incredibly soft and completely natural, and the curl/kink and natural variations is to die for! Fabric backed and filled with standard cushion filler. Two different sizes available:- small,  approx 30cm x 30cm- medium, approx 40cm x 40cm

Provenance and local heritage craft skills are a key theme to our whole process.

  • The Coldcroft Farm, Ryeland flock to produce the raw fleece

  • The Natural Fibre Co to prepare the fleece by scouring, cleaning, picking and carding prior to spinning.

  • The Gloucestershire Guild of Weavers Spinners & Dyers and Bristol Weaving Mill, who gave advice on spinning specifications

  • Rebecca Connolly, Guild member and Woven Textile Designer, to weave design samples.

  • Bristol Weaving Mill who produced the woven cloth and arranged the finishing
