Moorcroft - A smooth drinking single variety medium perry. Moorcroft is one of our staple favourites that delivers caramel and ice cream flavours. Sourced from two trees near the top of May Hill in September 2023. Moorcroft has previously won 99PINES awards at the Hereford Cider & Perry competition. Also known as Stinking Bishop (the cheese is dipped in it) but don't let this put you off this smooth operator! 5.1% alcohol by volume. 500ml.
Thorn - Like a dry wine, the sweet, dry and acid combo of this Thorn single variety perry delivers fruity citrus flavours with a hint of fig. Picking and pressing Thorn is an art ... One day it's ripe, the next it's mush and clogging the press like blancmange. Picked from two trees from a stunning heritage orchard in Gorsley, Herefordshire in September 2023. 6% alcohol by volume. 500ml.
Oldfield Reds Blend - A cracking blend of Oldfield and other local varieties, including Blakeney Red, Aylton Red and Gin pear. The Oldfield was kindly picked by Harry, Katie and family, from a previously overgrown orchard. The Blakeney Red was sourced from Jules' stunning perry orchard near Dymock, Gloucestershire. Pressed in October 2023 it drinks like lemonade, with flavours of jammy pear and violets, with a bitter finish. Placed 3rd place at the 2024 Big Apple Cider & Perry trials, Herefordshire. 5.4% alcohol by volume. 500ml.
Gin Pear - What's not to like about a perry variety called Gin?! A super light single variety perry, perfect for a summers day tipple. Enjoy hints of elderflower, juniper, nectarine and blackcurrants. Picked with help from Mark in November 2023 from a stunning heritage perry orchard in Gorsley, Herefordshire. 5% alcohol by volume. 500ml.
