Help for Ukraine: Thank You

As a community we realised there was something tangible we could do to help a little with the horrifying situation in Ukraine.

It started with Pauline in Huntley via Facebook, at the same time Rich and Sara Carter in May Hill were hatching a plan ... and the Hub slotted in nicely as a depot for donations.

Thank you all for your massive response and support!

Here we are a week later and Rich and his team are back from Warsaw, having dropped off your van load of donations - and more - as part of a larger operation instigated by the Gloucester Ukrainian Church of the Good Shepherd.

By the time they had returned from their 1600 mile round trip - funded by the generosity of many of you via their crowdfunding page - their delivery had arrived in Kyiv.

Huge respect to Rich & Sara Carter, and everyone else, who helped make this happen. Special mention also to the pupils at Tibberton School and the children of May Hill for their messages of hope and support ... and for bringing a tear to many a hardened eye.
